Within the period of 19 - 25 November 2018, a total of 2,707 movements were recorded, including 2,285 arrivals and 422 departures. Arrivals were recorded at locations in Askira Uba, Bama, Chibok, Damboa, Dikwa, Gubio, Gwoza, Hawul, Jere, Kaga, Kala/Balge, Konduga, Kukawa, Mafa, Magumeri, Maiduguri, Mobbar, Monguno and Ngala Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Borno state and locations in Fufore, Girei, Gombi, Guyuk, Lamurde, Madagali, Maiha, Mayo Belwa, Michika, Mubi North, Mubi South, Numan, Song, Yola North, and Yola South LGAs of Adamawa state. Departures were recorded at Askira Uba and Chibok LGAs of Borno state and Demsa, Fufore, Girei, Guyuk, Hong, Lamurde, Madagali, Maiha, Mayo Belwa, Mubi North, Mubi South, Numan, Song, Yola North, and Yola South LGAs of Adamawa state.

ETT assessments identified the following movement triggers: voluntary relocation (28%), improved security (13%), Military operation (1%), farming (3%), ongoing conflict (33%), poor living conditions (20%) and fear of attacks (3%).
