Between 19 April and 11 June 2024 the International Organization for Migration (IOM), through its Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM), conducted a Return Assessment in the DRC’s North Kivu province. This assessment aimed to assess the severity of living conditions in areas of return of Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) in areas of return and provide key data on the conditions faced by IDP returnees and potential future IDP returnees. Data were collected from sampled villages in Masisi, Rutshuru and Nyiragongo territories, which were found to host a combined 948,000 IDP returnees during the reporting period (DTM Mobility Tracking Round 11). This dashboard presents a summary of the main results of this evaluation.
