his information was collected following the armed violence in the first section of Canot in the municipality of Saut d’Eau that occurred on 23rd September 2024. A total of 627 individuals were displaced as a result of this violence. All internally displaced persons (IDPs) sought refuge with host families: 48% in Mirebalais, 34% in other communal sections of Saut d’Eau, 11% in Boucan Carré, 5% in Hinche, and 2% in Thomonde.
DTM Global Survey 2023
The Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) Global Survey 2023 is an annual stocktaking exercise which aims to present IOM DTM's operations and activities transparently. The Global Survey focuses on operations active from January 1 to December 31, 2023, with data collection occurring from February to April 2024.
