Mozambique — Emergency Tracking Tool Report — 189 (14-20 December 2022)

During the reporting period (14 to 20 December 2022), a total of 29 movements were recorded - 9 arrivals (306 individuals), 10 departures (414 individuals), 1 transit (79 individuals) and 9 returns (205 individuals). The largest arrival movements were recorded in Mueda (119 individuals), Nangade (96 individuals), and Metuge (48 individuals). The largest departure movement was recorded in Nangade (414 individuals). The only transit movement was observed from Mueda to Mocimboa da Praia (79 individuals). The largest return movement was observed from Montepuez to Mocimboa da Praia (108 individuals) and within Palma (47 individuals) . Of the total population, only 2 per cent of mobile groups were displaced for the first time, 75 per cent for a second time and 23 per cent were displaced at least three times.
