From 01 January 2021 to 16 October 2021 , IOM Yemen DTM estimates that 13,167 households (HH) (79,002 Individuals) have experienced displacement at least once.
Since the beginning of 2021, DTM also identified 845 displaced households who left their locations of displacement and either moved back to their place of origin or another location.
Between 10 and 16 October 2021, IOM Yemen DTM tracked 583 households (3,498 individuals) displaced at least once. The top three districts of the top three governorates that saw the highest number of displacements were:
• Marib (357 HH) – Marib City (154 HH), Al Jubah (146 HH), Marib (57 HH) districts. Most displacements in the governorate were internal.
• Abyan (64 HH) – Lawdar (58 HH), Khanfar (6 HH) districts. Most displacements in the governorate were internal.
• Shabwah (56 HH) – Ataq (47 HH), Osaylan (9 HH) districts. Most displacements in the governorate were internal.
Most displacements resulted from the increased conflict in the following governorates and districts.
• Marib (360 HH) – Al Jubah (331 HH), Harib (21 HH), Al Abdiyah (3 HH) districts.
• Abyan (58 HH) – Lawdar (58 HH) district.
• Shabwah (56 HH) – Osaylan (22 HH), Bayhan (18 HH), Ayn (14 HH) districts.
