285 undocumented Afghan individuals returned to Afghanistan through the Torkham border crossing whilst 235 individuals used the Chaman/Spin Boldak border crossing, bringing the total number of returns this week to 520 (102 families). There is an approximate 40% increase in the total number of returns as compared to last week. The total number of undocumented Afghans who returned spontaneously to Afghanistan since 1 January 2017 through Torkham and Chaman now stands at 99,165 (excluding deportations). The top 5 destination provinces for returns were Nangarhar (38%), Kandhar (37%), Laghman (8%), Kabul (6%), and Kunar (3%).
