Sobre Guatemala
La DTM se activó en Guatemala como respuesta a la erupción del Volcán de Fuego en 2018. Los sitios de desplazamiento fueron monitoreados por las condiciones de vida y las necesidades multisectoriales en junio y julio de 2018 como parte de una respuesta rápida bajo el CERF. En enero de 2019, se llevaron a cabo encuestas de seguimiento para monitorear el acceso a los medios de subsistencia y la participación de la población desplazada. Estas rondas de DTM se llevaron a cabo en coordinación con la Secretaría de Obras Sociales de la Esposa del Presidente (SOSEP). Además, la OIM también realiza actividades de gestión de la información como parte de la NTMI, que produjo una encuesta de percepción a nivel nacional sobre la migración, el tránsito y el desplazamiento interno en 2016. Finalmente, las actividades de seguimiento de la movilidad humana se complementan con el monitoreo continuo de los retornos de los migrantes al país, cuyos datos están disponibles en el siguiente sitio web: https://mic.iom.int/webntmi/
