This week a total of 288 entries were recorded and 58 exists. A slight increase in the number of Exits compared to last week. The new arrivals cited Food shortage (54%), Insecurity (25%), Health (15%) and Education (6%) as their reasons for displacement in to the IDP sites. As reported this week (56%) of those entering came from Kismayo district, (13%)Badhaadhe, (10%) Buale, (10%) Afmadow , (6%) Jamaame and a few other locations. They were heading to IDP sites in the Galbet Section (35%), Fanole section (25%), Central Section (25%), Dalxiska section (13%) and a few other locations. Out of the 12 families exiting the IDP sites, 5 of them were leaving sites in the Dalxiska Section, 4 left central Section, and 3 left Fanole section. Those exiting the sites indicated that they were heading to the districts of Buale (25%) and Kismayo (25%) the reminder was heading to Jilib (17%), Afmadow (17%) and Badhaadhe (17%). The majority of exists said their main reason for return was management of farms (67%), Uncomfortable living conditions (17%) and rejoining family (17%). 67% of the exists said they are intending to return back to the IDP sites in the future.
