DTM recorded 61,599 IDP families comprised of 369,594 individuals. The majority of recorded IDPs originated from Mosul District (335,226 individuals). Most IDPs are living in camps or emergency sites (319,104 individuals). As of 11 May 2017, updated figures about the recently opened Hammam al-Aliel 2 camp have been added. Ongoing field visits allowed to identify IDP and returnee families across different locations in Baghdad governorate, particularly in Markaz Al-Adhamia and Al-Sadir sub-districs.
