From the start of January 2014 through 22 June 2016, the DTM identified 3,320,274 internally displaced individuals (553,379 families). This maps shows the sizes of IDP population residing in 3 main shelter categories (private, critical, camp plus unknown). In total, 70% reside in private settings, 16% in critical shelter arrangements, 12% in camps and 2% in unknown shelter arrangements.
DTM Global Survey 2023
The Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) Global Survey 2023 is an annual stocktaking exercise which aims to present IOM DTM's operations and activities transparently. The Global Survey focuses on operations active from January 1 to December 31, 2023, with data collection occurring from February to April 2024.
