Sudan – Emergency Event Tracking Report Ag Geneina, West Darfur 014 (2021)

DTM teams activated Emergency Event Tracking (EET) to monitor the displacement of individuals affected by inter-communal conflict between Masalit and Arab tribes. Clashes initially erupted on 16 January 2021 in the Krinding area of Ag Geneina town, West Darfur.

This study presents key findings about remittances sent by migrants from Libya to their countries of origin, utilizing microdata collected from over 41,000 migrant interviews conducted in 2019-2020, including self-reported data on remittances disclosed by 13,738 migrants.

Sudan — Annual Registration Factsheet 2020

In 2020, DTM registered 76,354 individuals across three states of Darfur and South Kordofan – 39,922 (52%) of which were returnees and 36,432 (48%) internally displaced persons (IDPs).

Sudan — Registration and Flow Monitoring Quarterly Overview (October - December 2020)

From October to December 2020, IOM’s Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) conducted a total of 4,949 registrations in Sudan – 100 per cent of which were internally displaced persons (IDPs) with no new registrations of returnees since July.
