Over the reporting period, a total of 20,680 movements were observed at four (4) Flow Monitoring Points (FMPs) at the Ugandan border with South Sudan. Two FMPs (Panjala and Busia) were closed at the end of Last month.

Over the reporting period, a total of 206,453 movements were observed at eight (8) Flow Monitoring Points (FMPs) at the border with the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Similar to December 2019, this month saw a majority of incoming flows (58%) against outgoing flows (42%).

IOM's biometric registration has been active since 2014, with 933,607 beneficiaries active in its database to date, out of which 56 per cent (523,090 individuals) are female and 59 per cent (555,999 individuals) are under 18 years old.

In February 2020, the monthly population count was conducted at Cathedral, Nazareth, St. Joseph, Lokoloko and Masna collective centres where a total of 7,326 individuals were identified.

Au cours du mois de Janvier, le nombre moyen pondéré  d’individus observés par jour a été de 790, ce qui correspond à une  augmentation de 1,3% par rapport aux 780 individus observés en moyenne quotidiennement au mois précédent(*).

The International Organization for Migration's Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) has identified 697 IDPs (170 households) in Hai Kondako, Pibor County who fled communal clashes in Gumruk payam. More than a half of IDPs were male (54%) and under 18 years (51%).
