Somalia — Border Point Flow Monitoring — (January 2023)

A total of 34,554 movements were observed in January 2023, representing a 8% increase compared to 2022 when 31,960 movements were observed during the same period. If compared with January 2022, Buuhoodle (67%), Doolow (55%) and Harirad (19%) FMPs recorded an increase in movements, while Lowyacado (-54%), Bossaso (-33%), Cabudwaaq (-21%) and Dhobley (-10%) FMPs recorded a decrease in movements. Doolow (29%), Cabudwaaq (23%) and Buuhoodle (19%) FMPs recorded the highest numbers of incoming flows, while Doolow (57%), Bossaso (24%), Dhobley (7%) and Buuhoodle (7%) recorded the highest numbers of outgoing flows.
