Children comprise more than half of all the recorded internally displaced persons (IDPs). DTM assessed 31 communities and recorded a total of 5,388 conflict affected families (28,559 individuals). Of the provinces of Maquindanao, Agusan Del Sur, Bukidnon and Zamboanga City, latter housed the largest number of affected persons (14,083 individuals), followed by Maguindanao (10,411 individuals), Bukidon (1,145 individuals) and Agusan del Sur (500 individuals). 683 of 1,129 Pregnant/Breastfeeding women assessed in the four provinces (Agusan del Sur, Bukidnon, Maguindanao, Zamboanga City) can be found in Zamboanga City, followed by Maguindanao. The report includes a map displaying the locations, or displacement sites, number of affected individuals as well as the gender ratio across the four provinces. Finally, the report details the most urgent community education needs (most urgent: teaching School Kits) and the biggest constraints to education (biggest factor: no available teachers and resources/ supplies).
