Effective recovery and development initiatives rely heavily upon data collected at the local level. The use of data in recovery and development planning and implementation ensures that these processes are accountable, evidence-based and reflect the needs of the community.
The Registered IDP Area Baseline Assessment provides granular data on the number and geographic location of officially registered internally displaced people (IDPs).

Станом на 27 грудня 2023 року приблизно 3 689 000 осіб залишаються внутрішньо переміщеними особами в межах України, а за оцінками УВКБ ООН – 5 974 800 переміщених осіб перебуває за кордоном.
