DTM identified 237,967 internally displaced persons, 29,728 unregistered refugees and 61,090 returnees. 7% of the displaced population was displaced by flooding and other natural disasters while the vast majority (93%) was displaced by conflict.

This dashboard provides an overview of mobility patterns occurring in Nigeria’s northern States of Kano and Sokoto in September 2017. Results show that the daily average number of individuals observed at the flow monitoring point (FMP) in Kano decreased by 5.6% compared to August.

DTM Emergency Tracking Tool (ETT) is deployed to track and provide up-to-date information on sudden displacement and other population movements. Notably, this ETT found that 73 IDPs arrived at Bama and 127 left Bama, while 122 INDs arrived at Dikwa during the reporting period.
