Nigeria — Borno State - Intention Survey - Madinatu Camp (August 2024)

Madinatu Camp, which shelters 3,833 households and a total of 26,454 individuals, reported that 55 per cent of residents had experienced displacement only once, while 45 per cent had faced multiple displacements. Of those displaced multiple times, 36 per cent were displaced twice. In 2016, the camp saw its largest influx of new arrivals, with 45 per cent arriving primarily due to insurgency.
