Haiti — Emergency Tracking Tool 53.1 — Displacement following armed attacks in the municipality of Port-au-Prince (07 - 17 December 2024)

This report is an update of the one published on 9 December (ETT 53) following attacks that occurred in the neighborhood of Poste Marchand and its surroundings, in the municipality of Port-au-Prince. These attacks have intensified in recent days and the number of displaced persons has reached 10,867. The vast majority of these people (95%) have taken refuge in 18 sites, including 4 newly created and 14 that existed before these incidents and whose numbers of hosted IDPs have consequently increased considerably. In addition, 3 sites have also been emptied following these incidents.
