Guatemala – Transit Migration Flow Trends Dashboard 18 (1– 30 November 2024)

In November 2024, a total of 12,166 movements were observed at the 5 Flow Monitoring Points (FMPs) located in key transit migration areas across the country (an average of 579 daily movements). This represents a decrease of 30 per cent compared to the previous month, where more than 17,000 movements were observed. Forty-six per cent of the movements were observed at San Marcos FMP, located at the southwestern border with Mexico. Of the surveyed population, more than 97 per cent travel in small groups (ranging from 2 to 7 individuals).
