IOM’s biometric registration system is active since 2014, with over 700,000 beneficiaries active in its database to date.
In April 2019, a total of 32,933 movements were observed at Flow Monitoring Points. This represents a significant increase (41%) in comparison with March 2019 when 23,407 movements were observed.
The DTM Monthly Regional Snapshot contains summary updates of DTM field operations. It is published on a monthly basis and covers the East Africa and Horn of Africa Region.

Over the reporting period, a total of 107,706 movements were observed at eight (8) Flow Monitoring Points (FMPs) at the border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). The incoming population into Uganda continued to be higher (70%) than outgoing to DRC (30%).

Du 1 au 28 Février 2019, 36,091 mouvements ont été observés sur 8 points de transit à savoir Mbundi et Rusumo (province Muyinga), Mukambati et Ntibitobangwa (province Cankuzo), Mungano et Kabuyenge (province Ruyigi), Kwa Elidadi et Kwa Ntunaguzi (province Rutana).
Ce suivi des urgences a été realisé au Burundi pendant la semaine du 21 au 27 avril 2019. La DTM a identifié 116 personnes affectées pour pluies torrentielles et 42 personnes déplacées.
