On 11 March, a non-state armed group (NSAG) reportedly attacked the community of Jabo in Bultuwa ward of Yunusari LGA in Yobe state. The attack affected 242 individuals and displaced 146 individuals to the community of Anguwar Arewa and 96 individuals to the community of Kwata, both located in Asheikiri ward of Geidam LGA.

On 14 and 15 March, clashes between herders and farmers were reported in the communities of Gbeji in Ityuluv ward of Ukum LGA and Tule in Fiidi ward of Makurdi LGA, both in Benue state. The clashes affected 787 individuals and displaced 702 individuals from the community Gbeji to the community Zaki Biam in Uyam ward of Ukum LGA. The affected individuals in Tule remained in their community. As a result of the clashes, 9 fatalities and 46 injuries were reported.
Also on 15 March, a communal clash between the Akpegede and Oju communities was reported in the community Akpegede in Otobi ward of Oturkpo in Benue state. The unrest was caused by a community protest over the lack of power supplies which led to vandalization and violence. The clash affected 236 individuals and displaced 234 individuals to the community Oturkpo Town in Oturkpo ward. As a result of the clash, 2 fatalities and 9 injuries were reported.

On 11 March, armed bandits reportedly attacked the community of Majifa in Pauwa A & B ward of Kankara LGA in Katsina state. The attack affected 72 individuals and displaced 51 individuals to the community Kankara Town in Kankara ward of Kankara LGA. As a result of the attack, 21 fatalities and 11 injuries were reported.

On 28 February, a clash between herders and farmers was reported in the community Tse Akyegh in Ikyaghev ward of Gwer West LGA in Benue state. The conflict affected 122 individuals and displaced 115 individuals to the community High level in Ikyaghev ward of Gwer West LGA. As a result of the clash, 7 fatalities and 13 injuries were reported.
On 03 and 04 March, clashes between herders and farmers were reported in the communities Ityulugh and Ityuluv in Mbaikyor ward of Kwande LGA in Benue state. The clashes affected 2,251 individuals and displaced 636 individuals to the community Jato-Aka in Yaav ward and 1,590 individuals to the community Ikyogen in Liev II ward of Kwande LGA. As a result of the clashes, 25 fatalities and 65 injuries were reported.

The findings presented in this report draw on a survey of displacement patterns, needs and intentions, conducted by IOM in the Republic of Moldova between 9 March and 7 December 2022. The first round of data collection under this exercise was conducted by IOM in collaboration with UN Women between 9 March and 12 May 2022.
The second round was designed by IOM in coordination with the Information Management Working Group, began on 6 September and finished on 7 December 2022.
The purpose of the survey is to capture the displacement trends and identify the immediate humanitarian needs and intentions, demographic profiles and transportation of refugees from Ukraine and other Third-Country Nationals (TCNs) fleeing Ukraine due to the war. The exercise aims to provide more in-depth information to enable IOM, UN Women and relevant stakeholders to identify programmatic, policy and humanitarian response in an evidence-based approach.
This report assesses the evolution of reported needs and vulnerabilities of Ukrainian refugees and TCNs based on 16,172 interviews.

According to the latest available figures from the Turkish Presidency of Migration Management (PMM), there are more than 5.1 million foreign nationals present in Türkiye, 3.8 million of whom are seeking international protection. Most are Syrians (3,447,837 individuals) who have been granted temporary protection status. In addition, international protection holders from countries including Iraq, Afghanistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran constitute another group of foreign nationals. According to UNHCR, there were 318,903 refugees and asylum-seekers in Türkiye as of mid of 2022.
Moreover in 2022, according to PMM, there were 33,246 international protection applicants in the country, a figure released by PMM annually.
In addition, there are 1,339,738 foreign nationals present in Türkiye, holding residence permits. Compared to February 2022, this is a decrease of 54,699 individuals.

In 2022 the International Organization for Migration (initiated the implementation of the Labour Migration Programme Central Asia,' which is financed by the Swiss Development and Cooperation Agency. The program's primary objective is to establish secure, well organized, and systematic recruitment pathways that address the demands of employers, safeguard the rights of migrant workers and increase developmental impacts in both the origin and destination countries. The project focuses on Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
The Displacement Tracking Matrix (is a method that collects and examines data to share essential information about the movement, susceptibilities, and necessities of displaced and moving groups. These data help decision makers and responders offer more suitable aid to these populations.
Key informants were interviewed during focus group sessions to identify locations with migrant presence. Results of the Baseline Assessment show that 668,422 migrant workers were present in Kazakhstan at the moment of data collection. The biggest share of migrant workers was located in the Mangystau region (31.9%), Almaty region (18.8%), and Almaty city (18.1%). The smallest share of migrant workers was residing in the West-Kazakhstan region (0.4%), East-Kazakhstan region (0.5%), and North-Kazakhstan region (0.7%).

Для інформування цільових інтервенцій, спрямованих на зменшення вразливості, що виникає внаслідок недостатніх фізичних і соціальних умов у місцях повернення, Оцінка умов повернення надає детальні дані про те, де відбуваються повернення, місця знаходження найбільш вразливих серед тих, хто повернувся, а також відповідає на питання чому так сталось.
