Fear of attacks and subsequent confirmed attacks in Mueda, Quissanga, Memba and Metuge districts by Non-State Armed Groups triggered 4,198 individual displacement movements within Chiure, Ibo, Macomia, Mecufi, Metuge, Montepuez, Mueda, Muidumbe, Namuno and Quissanga.

During the reporting period (10 to 16 August 2022), a total of 76 movements were recorded - 49 arrivals (12,234 individuals), 15 departures (272 individuals), 11 returns (1,094 individuals), and 1 transit (54 individuals).
Following the recent attacks in Mitepo locality (Meluco district), the IOM’s DTM team continue to track IDP movement across Cabo Delgado. An estimated 2,009 individuals (585 households) were displaced to Meluco sede. Among the the displaced individuals, 14 were identified with vulnerabilities.
During the reporting period (27 July to 02 August 2022), a total of 75 movements were recorded - 43 arrivals (2,608 individuals), 17 departures (1,019 individuals), 13 returns (1,176 individuals), and 2 transits (115 individuals).
