As the drought continues to worsen with displacement increasing in Somalia DTM is piloting
This atlas contains a summary of findings from the eleventh round of Mobility Tracking conducted across South Sudan through key-informant based assessment at payam and location level between July and September 2021.
As per April 2022 population count findings, the Bentiu Town Sites ( B, C, D, and E) population stands at 58,118 individuals (on average 6 individuals per shelter). This represents an eleven per cent increase 5,861 individuals/ 542 households) compared to March 2022.
As of September 2021, there has been an increase in the total number of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), relative to December 2020. The data reflects a continuation of the significant impact of natural disasters, which was already observed in 2019 and 2020.
The Horn of Africa and Yemen is one of the busiest and riskiest migration corridors in the world travelled by hundreds of thousands of migrants, the majority of whom travel in an irregular manner, often relying on smugglers to facilitate movement along the Eastern Route.

La DTM a identifié 84 791 personnes déplacées internes (PDI) réparties dans 19 407 ménages déplacés, 91% des déplacements étaient dus à des désastres naturels et 9% à d'autres raisons.
DTM has identified 84,791 internally displaced persons (IDPs) in 19,407 households, 91% of the displacement were due to natural disasters and 9% other reasons in the month of April 2022 covering all 18 provinces of Burundi.
In 2021, DTM teams observed 281,527 movements at Flow Monitoring Points (FMPs). Out of the total observed movements, 43 per cent (121,095) were incoming flows. People interviewed originated from Ethiopia (66%), Kenya (13%) and Djibouti (10%).
The objective of this report is to describe the experiences of Ethiopian migrants who are either migrating to the Arabian Peninsula or who have returned from Yemen and are currently in Obock, Djibouti.

A total of 31,848 individuals were affected, representing 6,568 households. 1,236 individuals from 988 households were internally displaced by disasters. So far in 2022, 46,519 individuals have been affected by disasters, representing 11,368 households.
