South Sudan – Intention Survey (24 February - 3 March 2025)

As at March 2025, the Bentiu IDP Camp population was 102,799 individuals (15,436 households), representing a five per cent decrease since October 2024.
Given the significant population changes since the last overall biometric registration and verification (137,221 individuals, 31,002 households), IOM DTM periodically conducts population counts to monitor population dynamics and displacement trends. This exercise shows the number of individuals currently residing Bentiu IDP Camp is lower than the registered total.
